The award-winning film composer Hans Zimmer’s hit tour “Hans Zimmer Live” is finally coming to Japan, here at IG Arena. Experience a journey through the brilliantly shining masterpieces of Hans Zimmer’s career in film, accompanied by an outstanding 19-piece band and full orchestra.
Academy Award® and Grammy Award-winning Zimmer and his band and orchestra will perform scores from legendary films. The newly conceived setlist includes music from “Gladiator,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “The Dark Knight,” “Interstellar,” “The Lion King,” “The Last Samurai,” and “DUNE,” for which Zimmer won his second Academy Award®.
Hans Zimmer’s exceptional melodies and innovative compositional style continue to captivate a wide range of fans worldwide across generations. In addition to the above works, he has composed music for “No Time to Die,” “Inception,” “Dunkirk,” “Man of Steel,” “The Dark Knight Trilogy,” “Wonder Woman,” “Kung Fu Panda,” “12 Years a Slave,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “Dune: Part Two.”

Hans Zimmer Profile
Hans Zimmer is a German-born film composer and music producer who has worked on more than 500 projects with worldwide box office earnings exceeding $28 billion. He has won numerous awards including 2 Academy Awards®, 3 Golden Globes®, 5 Grammy Awards®, an American Music Award, and a Tony Award®. His notable works include “Dune,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” “No Time to Die,” “Gladiator,” “The Thin Red Line,” “Rain Man,” “The Dark Knight Trilogy,” “Inception,” “Thelma & Louise,” “The Last Samurai,” “12 Years a Slave,” “Blade Runner 2049” (in collaboration with Benjamin Wallfisch), and “Dunkirk.” He has also composed music for David Attenborough’s “Prehistoric Planet” and the Academy Award®-winning “Dune: Part Two.” Recently, he scored Steve McQueen’s film “Blitz,” starring Sasha Ronan and Harris Dickinson, which was released in theaters on November 1, 2024. His latest work includes the score for Joseph Kosinski’s “F1,” scheduled for release by Warner Brothers on June 27, 2025.
Beyond film music, he has recently achieved success as a touring artist. After completing his second European tour, he successfully conducted his first North American tour “Hans Zimmer Live,” performed for two consecutive nights at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, Middle East, and also performed at the F1 Singapore Grand Prix.
About IG Arena
Japan’s largest hybrid entertainment arena, scheduled to have its grand opening with the Grand Sumo Nagoya Tournament in July 2025. With a maximum capacity of approximately 17,000 people, it features a 30m high ceiling and is Japan’s first venue to adopt a hybrid oval-shaped arena that combines an oval shape suitable for sports viewing with a horseshoe shape ideal for concerts. It introduces international viewing and appreciation styles with enhanced food and beverage outlets and hospitality areas. In addition to the Grand Sumo Nagoya Tournament, it has been decided that it will serve as the home arena for the B1 League club “Nagoya Diamond Dolphins.” The name IG Arena was announced in February 2024 with naming rights partner IG Group (UK). The exterior and partial interior design is by Kengo Kuma and Associates.
